I like your example and would like to see you expand it even further to challenge employers (especially small(er) business owners) to create cultures in their businesses that permit employees to take risks and even fail (within some boundary) - in other words to not only embrace this value for themselves but to be sure that within a culture of accountability that there is room to innovate and try new ideas. - I look forward to seeing what you do with this.

Truer words could not be spoken. Even those who think they are indispensible or very comfortable should take heed. Everyone at Enron did not see the writing on the wall. and when you are thirsty, it's almost too late.

Lots of love for Barbershop around our place! As a musical genre it's still alive and well, sung by men or women, getting better every day in terms of the world-class quality of singing and entertainment. Hope you'll find some Barbershop near where you live so you can enjoy it more often!

This is a great post, I have often wondered the quesiton you asked early in the posting. If leaders are born or made? I believe that people are born with natural tendencies to lead, but I also believe that courage is something that is aquired, and one can not lead without courage.

Hey, nice site!

And interesting post.

A cappella music may not be popular with the main stream...but there are a group of fans out there that love it, and we feel it's music in it's purest form.
